Aldo Tura Lacquered Goatskin Lounge Table, Italy, 1960's

We are always enamored by the marble-effect Aldo Tura achieved by covering surfaces with lacquered goatskin. The results are truly mesmerizing and this table in various shades of brown, ranging from coffee to dark chocolate, is no exception.

Hailing from Milan, Italy, some time in the late 50s, early 60s, and set on four brass legs this lounge table is well proportioned and in very good and stable condition. Beyond a few light scratches and a little wear after some 65 years of entertaining, this table shows very few signs of its age and use (please refer to photos)!

This is a well crafted and beautiful piece of mid-century modern furniture that will grace its new home with charm and character!
