Art Deco Side Table with Walnut Burl Wood Veneer, France, 1930's

The streamlined oval shape of the table tops covered in Walnut veneer, along with the black columns contrasted by the silver-plated sleeves, give this side table the distinctive timeless aesthetic of the Art Deco movement. 

Hailing from France in the 1930s, this side table is simplistic in its design, yet offers an opulent organic finish, that combines the glamour and modernity of the early 20th century with a sense of sophisticated luxury!

We were delighted to see that the table was stored upside down for many years, protecting the table surfaces from damages and stains (which are clearly visible on the undersides). As a result, the veneer is in great condition on the table tops and the silver coted sleeves have maintained their shine. 

With an age of 90+ years this table is in good vintage condition and will bring an air of timeless elegance into any space!
