Bamboo Umbrella Stand attr. to Franco Albini for Bonacina, Italy, 1950s

This attractive bamboo and rattan umbrella stand hails from Italy and is the ideal solution to store your walking canes, hiking poles and, of course, umbrellas in style!

The design is most likely by Franco Albini, noted for his celebrated designs for the Italian furniture maker Bonacina near Lake Como in Italy. 

With a height of almost 22 inches (55 cm) and a diameter of 14 inches (35 cm) this is a good sized stand, that will fit neatly into most entryways and mudrooms.

Thanks to the quality of the materials and the craftsmanship applied, this umbrella stand is still in very good condition and will continue to serve its new home well!
