Brass Turtle Call Bell / Service Bell / Reception Bell with Damascene Decorations

This ornate call or service bell in shape of a turtle is in great condition and rings out loud and clear by tapping the head or tail of the turtle. 

Fitted with a manual winding mechanism, this mid-century reception desk classic is decorated in the damascene style and was possibly made by BOJ Eibar in Spain, though no makers mark is visible.

As it is still operational, it would work just as well in an hospitably or service setting, as it would make the perfect gift for all sorts of turtle enthusiasts.
