Refined and neat in its appearance, this side table features a table top made of Capiz shells (aka windowpane oysters, window shells, or jingle shells), which gives it a reflective mother-of-pearl like shimmer!
Standing on a brass tripod base supporting a single white-lacquered leg, it is a most elegant and well proportioned table hailing from the workshops of Munich's illustrious Vereinigte Werkstätten in the 1960s.
The side table is still in very good condition with only minimal signs of its age and use and the brass details have maintained their golden shine!
Similar in design to the works of Cesare Lacca, this Hollywood Regency side table is ideal for interior settings with a smooth, minimalist or modernist attitude.

Please note:
With a lifetime of stories behind them, our vintage design items come with a bit of character.
Like the best of us, they may have picked up some scratches and scuff marks, acquired patina, and that original shine may have faded a little. And like with most of us, the internal struggles are not always visible to the outside world.
Our second-hand items may not fulfil state-of-the art safety standards and codes in your region. Inner faults may exist that were missed by us. Please always consult with a certified professional before installing any electrical items.
