Glamourous Wall Mirror with Faceted Frame by Dekundt, Belgium, 1980's (Model 2024.311)

Masterfully handcrafted in the West-Flemish town of Deerlijk, Belgium, this wall mirror is a 1980's tribute to Hollywood Regency designs, blending Art Deco with neoclassicism and adding a generous dose glamour!

Deknudt have been "combining tradition and experience with true innovation" since 1946 to produce "premium, precision crafted design mirrors" and this is most evident in this piece.

On each side eight mirrored strips are bordered by brass elements, resulting in a well proportioned and elegant frame with effortless elegance.

On the backside two hooks allow this mirror to be hung either vertically or horizontally (portrait or landscape). The Dekundt model number 2024.311 and cleaning instructions are also provided on the backside.

The mirror is in very good condition with only a small crack on the outermost strip on one of the shorter sides.  There are no blind spot or de-silveration on the main mirror.

This mirror is ideal for maximizing light, creating the illusion of space or enhancing the atmosphere of a room whether it is placed in a hallway, bathroom or as focal point in above a mantlepiece!
