Hollywood Regency Gilt Metal Palm Tree Table Lamp by Hans Kögl, Germany, 1970s

This elegant tree table lamp was designed by the illustrious German designer Hans Kögl and hails from the 1970s

Set on a round base, the body is made of small gilt metal plates arranged around the central rod like the trunk of a palm tree. There is an offshoot at one side and palm leaves protruding from the tops of both the trunk and the offshoot.. 

The lamp is designed for one E27 bulb which sits in a flower calyx on top of the central rod.

In good vintage condition this lamp has acquired an appealing patina over the past 50 years showing a bit of wear consistent with its age and use. 

The lamp is fitted with the original switch and the lamp-shade is included in the price!

This little Hollywood Regency gem will add a little glamour to any living space!
