We are delighted to bring to the market this ivory coloured Aldo Tura bar cabinet, offering a mid-century modern statement piece that exudes refined luxury!

Expertly handcrafted in Milan, Italy, in the 1960’s, this dry bar showcases Aldo Tura’s trademark use of dyed goatskin under multiple layers of high-gloss clear lacquer and delicately placed brass accents on the exterior surfaces - making it a stylish, multifunctional focal point in any room.

The mirrored interior with glass shelves and automated illumination is the undeniable highlight of this cabinet - allowing the contents of the bar to shine and sparkle upon opening.

This cabinet is divided into three distinct sections offering an organized space for spirits, mixers, barware and glasses, while the foldout door on the left provides a dedicated preparation area. Additional tools and accessories can be stored in the four drawers.

Set on a wooden console style base, this bar cabinet has stood the test of time and is in very good condition with only slight signs of its age including some slight dulling on some of the brass elements. Most notably one mirror pane on the inside of the fold-out space shows a diagonal line of de-silvering (caused by the electric wire behind the mirror leading to the light source). Some of the mirror panels show minor edge corrosion and one of the hinges of the foldout door may need replacement in the future -  which is to be expected after 60+ yeas of entertaining guests. The doors and drawers close well and the lock is still operational with the original key.

This bar comes with its original European wiring and light bulbs. 

Offering a "grown-up" alternative to a bar cart, with more storage, better organization, and a more permanent look, this Italian dry bar will be a social centrepiece in most living spaces – whether it is placed in a sumptuous lounge area, a sophisticated home library, or a contemporary dining room.
