Li Puma Firenze Gilt Curule Seat / Vanity Chair. Hollywood Regency, Italy, 1950s

Attributed to LiPuma, Italy, this gilded wrought iron Curule or Savonarola stool with twisted rope and tassels detail has 1950's Italian Hollywood Regency written all over it.

This seat would make a great bedroom seat or vanity chair. In dry climates this stool would also serve well as a pool-side towel holder.

The chair is in original vintage condition with some signs of wear and age adding to its character. Notably the gilding in some areas has gone little thin over the years, especially around the twisted rope tassels on the sides as documented in the pictures.
