Lounge Table Model 780 by GIANFRANCO FRATTINI for CASSINA, Italy, 1970s

With its clean matt black finish this 1960's design classic stands the test of time thanks to it's sleek,  minimalist design!

This single coffee table out of the Cassina nesting table collection was designed by Gianfranco Frattini and manufactured with great attention to detail from black lacquered wood with a reversible Formica table top in black and slightly off-white. 
 
One leg still has the original "Cassina" sticker attached on the inside. 

The table is in good stable condition with some signs of its age and use. It seems that the lacquer was touched up in some places over its lifetime and the table top shows a chip on the the edge of the white surface.  

This is a great example of Italian design showcasing timeless elegance!
