Mid-Century Modern Uchiwa Style Bamboo Pendant Light

This striking pendant lamp in the style of the iconic Ingo Maurer hails from the late 1950s and early 60s. Made from bamboo and thin cotton paper this lamp is borrowing from traditional Japanese techniques of fan making to create a natural and organic form.

Designed for an E27 bulb, the pendant lamp emits a warm and golden glow.

Please note, while in overall good vintage condition over the years some the fans have become a little brittle and show some slight gaps (please refer to photos carefully).
