Pair of Green Aldo Tura Side Tables with Brass Columns, Italy 1960's

These original ALDO TURA coffee or side tables also make a great nightstand due to their almost cube sized dimensions.

With their distinctive and sleek design these ALDO TURA side tables were designed in Milano, Italy in the 1960's and were handcrafted from high-quality materials and finishes.

Set on four brass legs, the brass columns support two surfaces which are covered in emerald green lacquered goatskin, giving them a green marble effect - a hallmark of Aldo Tura's celebrated designs.  

After some 60 years of entertaining these tables are in good stable condition with signs of their age and use, such as scratches on the surfaces, scuff marks and slight damages to the lacquer (please refer to photos). The brass columns and tapered legs do show some patina. Please note that the condition of these tables is reflected in the price. 

These are a truly classic, timeless design, with a good dash of Italian panache!
