Ralph Lauren Home "Modern Metropolis" Bar Trolley, USA, 1990's

Art Deco evidently served as a huge source of inspiration, when the Modern Metropolis Bar Trolley was introduced to the Ralph Lauren Home range of furnishings and accessories.

Replicating the aerodynamic and machine-age aesthetics of the 1930's Streamline Moderne movement, the two curving frames are crafted from nickel-plated steel in a compact and very clever design. 

The outer frame easily rotates around a central end column, doubling the surface area of the glass tops and making it a smart solution for tighter spaces. The inner frame includes six bottle holders and an elegant base shelf to store spirits, glasses, or even a champagne cooler. 

This bar cart is in very good condition with only small signs of its age and use (there are some light scratches) and all five polished nickel casters roll well!

With its stylish design and its impressive pedigree, hailing from one of America's most iconic brands, this bar cart is destined to serve its new home well!
