Smoked Glass Coffee Table with Brass Tripod Base by Vereinigte Werkstätten Munich, Germany, 1960s

This most elegant coffee table was designed and manufactured at the workshops of Munich's celebrated Vereinigte Werkstätten in the 1960s.

Refined and neat in its appearance, this table has a white lacquered pedestal base which sits on a brass tripod. The smoked glass top is fixed in place with a shiny brass finial in form of a ring, which also functions as a handle to easily position the table as needed. 

Similar in design to the works of Cesare Lacca, this Hollywood Regency table is ideal for interior settings with a smooth, minimalist or modernist attitude.

The table is in very good condition and the brass has maintained its golden shine. The glass top has two minor chips as documented in the photos.
