Super Rare!!! Petit Aldo Tura Bar Cart in Purple, Italy 1960s

Unlike most Aldo Tura bar carts this super rare find is Aubergine (Eggplant) colored!

Hailing from Milan, this lacquered goatskin trolley was made in the 1960s and shows a variety of marble-like purple tones, reminiscent of the Violet Breche marble extracted  from Serravezza, near to the Carrara region in Italy. 

The shiny brass details stand in contrast to the darker surfaces and give this bar cart a luxurious Hollywood Regency look.

The cart is in good condition with a history of entertaining guests for over 60 years and the surfaces have retained their excellent shine - albeit with some minor scratches and some fading next to the Handle on the top board. The lacquer on the edges, especially of the lower board, shows some fading and appears greyish in parts.   

The brass elements have patina and the wheels are in good condition.
