Tiered Scandinavian Modern Pendant Light attr. to Hans-Agne Jakobsson, Sweden, 1960s

This pendant light with a geometric diamond-like silhouette has all the characteristics of Scandinavian Modern design: focusing on simplicity, functionality, and natural beauty, combining clean lines, light colors, and organic materials. 

Constructed from horizontally stacked wooden slats and topped with a truncated pyramid canopy, we strongly suspect that this light fixture was crafted by the visionary Swedish designer Hans-Agne Jakobsson, who was known for his innovative use of materials to achieve a soft, non-glaring illumination. 

This light is in very good condition with only slight signs of its age and is currently wired for European voltage and a single light bulb.
