Tooled Leather Top Side Table by Maitland Smith, Hollywood Regency, Mid-Century

This beautifully hand crafted side table caught our attention thanks to its excellent proportions and to its brass feet in the shape of mallard heads.

Produced by the distinguished luxury furniture and decor manufacturer Maitland-Smith, this side table is set on a black metal frame, on which a vegetable-tanned and tooled leather top rests on a wooden base. A brass rosette on each side of the X-shaped frame adds an additional touch of elegance.

The table is in very good sturdy condition with only little signs of its age and use. One of the duck heads has a little chip on the underside of its beak, which is only visible when the table is inspected upside down (as shown in the photos).

Thanks to its color scheme this side table will be a great match with most interior decor styles and add an unobtrusive touch of Hollywood Regency to its new home.
