Vivai Del Sud Lamp

This dome shaped rattan pencil reed pendant lamp with brass accent and topped with an amber glass crown was most likely produced by Vivai Del Sud in Italy in the 1960s.

This extra handblown glass fitting not only adds to the ambient light produced by this lamp but also makes it a rather rare find. Another unusual feature of this lamp is the inner metal shade which not only protects the pencil reed from the heat of the light bulb but also focuses the light.

In very good condition this lamp is a great find and will add a touch of Mediterranean Mid-Century feeling to any living area.
